Curious Incident Score: Licensing
I am a friendly independent artist, and handle requests on a case-by-case basis. If you want to license the score, please contact me using the form below and we will arrange it. Note that it is copyrighted work and even for amateurs, permission must be granted for use. It’s free for high schools, universities, and community theaters (though you can feel free to buy me a scotch); for Equity and other professional productions, a fair rate will be provided depending on run length and house size (much like performance rights for the script). For professional productions, expect it to be 10% or less of what you pay for rights.
Upon licensing, the full library will be provided in high quality 48kHz/24bit lossless sound files, with suggested cue sheets and crediting stipulations. Samples available here. Your sound designer will then be welcome to edit & rearrange the cues if needed to fit your needs. (I’d also be glad to provide modifications and customizations for an hourly rate.)
Fill out our form to inquire about it! Further details on contacting me will be provided on submission, just in case the inquiry gets lost in the mail.
A note about rights: upon licensing, you will have all rights to use the music in your production. There is no relationship to the script or production rightsholders; this score is not endorsed by any prior production, nor is it restricted or prohibited in any way. No other copyrighted material is included, and no other permissions need to be obtained. With my permission, you’re quite free to use it as you wish!
